Put your feet in the sand and a drink in your hand at the Descanso Beach Club, Avalon’s only seaside restaurant and bar. A favorite of both visitors and locals, this is a popular escape from downtown Avalon during the summer season.
Situated in a private cove just past the Casino, the Descanso Beach Club offers the beauty of the beach with all the advantages of a club. The beachfront property contains a full service patio, terraced lawn, and open air bar overlooking miles of Pacific Ocean. Amenities include restrooms, showers, chair rentals, volleyball courts, kayak rentals, excellent snorkeling, seaside massages, and a clothing boutique.
Casual beachside fare is served daily, including delicious appetizers, sensational salads, sandwiches, and local favorites. A tropical bar is the perfect place to grab one of our signature cocktails while soaking up the summer sun. An evening BBQ under the stars is offered seasonally on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
